In case you weren't able to attend the @cincynature garden tour, here's a quick walk-through of our project.

This was freshly installed this past week, and features an array of native gardens such as a large dry creek, a full sun pollinator garden, shade gardens, and a low-grow meadow grass planting!

Plants provided by @greenfieldplantfarm and @keystone_flora.

Pollinator gardens are really starting to be recognized as one of the best ways to beautify your yard. This year one of our ongoing property restorations in Indian Hill will be available for exploration during the @cincynature garden tour!

With all of the spring rains this year our pollinator gardens planted in 2023 are exploding!

🏵Native Workshop🏵

We were recently invited out to @pyramidhillpark to talk about natives, container gardening, and ecological land-care philosophy.

If you are interested in getting started in gardening but aren't sure where to begin, container gardening is an accessible low-risk format with innumerable benefits!

😑 Jumanji 😑

This transformation is a perfect example of how a project may take a few years to mature. Most of the vegetation removed was invasives like honeysuckle, pepper vine or poison ivy, which will all try to make a resurgence while our perennials spread and the shrubs fill out.

This summer our client will get to enjoy a backyard of blooms instead of an ominous jungle...

🔥Let's Grow X!🔥

The cold rain stood no chance against the energy that was on-site the @stxbombers campus with @b_thekeeper and @meghanshaughnessy. Our second pollinator garden with the students is now complete, and is going to explode this spring!

Projects like these are a priority for us as a company because getting to engage with others affirms that what we are doing matters. We are very thankful to have been invited back to St. X!

🌾 No More Mowing 🌾

New front porch, stairs, sidewalk, and PLANTS! This front yard had a bizarre layout which resulted in drainage issues and an inconvenient mowing situation.

We resolved these issues and worked with our favorite part-shade perennials to create a walk-able woodland garden right outside their front door!

🔥 Quick and Easy 🔥

This garden is LOADED with our favorite natives, which are both herbaceous and hardwood, AND will have color through the whole growing season.

If you are interested in a pollinator garden of similar size, give us a call! This project took our crew less than a day and is now a highlight of our client's backyard😊

😮 DREAM-SCAPE 😮

One of our highlights of last season was working with @b_thekeeper and these amazing homeowners who wanted ALL the pollinators, AND natural stonework.

This design established great pollinator habitat, reduced their mowing burden, improved their foot access to the front door, and obviously enhanced curb appeal.

🐝 Urban Pollinators! 🐝

In the fall of 2022 we had the privilege to install a monarch-centric pollinator garden in front of the famous Elsinore Castle at @wcpo9_news with @b_thekeeper .

The coolest part of this project is that we are showing that a pollinator garden is perfectly acceptable for a busy area in terms of function, not to mention the unbelievable curb appeal from wildflowers!

💦 Water Management 💦

This side yard had a list of sub-optimal circumstances resulting in the foundation of the home taking on too much water.

We removed a no longer functioning french drain, all irrigation heads, and drastically regraded to prevent any water from encroaching on the house.

Our plant selection was perennials like prairie drop-seed, cardinal flower, turtlehead, and rudbeckia. Now this area will be flood and drought tolerant while protecting the foundation of the home.

We think this looks better than a french drain too😊
